The Zagreb School of Medicine (ZSM), part of the University of Zagreb in Croatia, stands as the largest educational medical institution in the country, boasting a significant number of medical and postgraduate students. Affiliated with the Zagreb University Hospital Centre and the Psychiatric Clinic Vrapče, the School offers comprehensive education in psychological medicine and psychiatry for medical students, psychiatry trainees, nurses, social workers, and other mental health professionals. The ZSM will serve as the main base for the training and will liaise and coordinate the activities with all the other partners of the exchange programmes. On the first day of the programme, here the participants will have to opportunity to learn about the functioning of the mental health services in Croatia through interactive sessions with the staff members. During the visits, the ZSM members will guide the group through the exchange programme journey.

EU-PROMENS prioritizes Community-Based Mental Health Care (CBMH) and human rights in selecting host organizations, encompassing services beyond psychiatric hospitals, such as primary care and community mental health centers. Our focus includes enhancing mental health services across partner hubs through multisectoral coordination and professional upskilling.

- The "Vrapče" Psychiatric Clinic stands as a prominent and historic institution in Croatian psychiatry, marking over 145 years of dedicated service.
- The Croatian Institue of Public Health remains a leading institution in Croatia, renowned for its contributions to public health, epidemiology, and preventive medicine.
- Institute of Public Health Andrija Štampar is specialized in prevention and treatment with youth and with addiction disorders and the participants will have the opportunity to learn about specific programmes for youth through interactive sessions with the staff members.
- The Faculty of Education and Rehabilitation at the University of Zagreb is a distinguished institution dedicated to the education and training of professionals in the fields of special education, rehabilitation, and social pedagogy.
- The Croatian Association of Mental Health Associations (SUMEZ) stands as a pivotal organization dedicated to advancing mental health awareness, support, and advocacy across Croatia run by peer workers.
- Humana Nova is more than just a social enterprise; it is a community dedicated to environmental sustainability, social inclusion, and economic empowerment situated in the town of Čakovec.
- Centar Stančić is a social care institution under the direct authority of the Ministry of Labour, Pension, Family, and Social welfare, providing social services to over 600 children with disabilities and adults with intellectual or mental disabilities.
