The Zagreb School of Medicine (ZSM), part of the University of Zagreb in Croatia, stands as the largest educational medical institution in the country, boasting a significant number of medical and postgraduate students. Affiliated with the Zagreb University Hospital Centre and the Psychiatric Clinic Vrapče, the School offers comprehensive education in psychological medicine and psychiatry for medical students, psychiatry trainees, nurses, social workers, and other mental health professionals. The ZSM will serve as the main base for the training and will liaise and coordinate the activities with all the other partners of the exchange programmes. On the first day of the programme, here the participants will have to opportunity to learn about the functioning of the mental health services in Croatia through interactive sessions with the staff members. During the visits, the ZSM members will guide the group through the exchange programme journey.

The Psychiatric Hospital "Sveti Ivan" is recognized as a leading institution specializing in psychosocial rehabilitation and residential care for psychiatric patients. Here the participants will learn about innovative outpatient programs like the Early Intervention Programme (RIPEPP), which includes psychoeducational workshops and group psychodynamic psychotherapy tailored for individuals with psychotic disorders, and about the comprehensive programmes for several addictions. The participants will be offered interactive sessions with the staff members and service users and small group practice observations.

The "Vrapče" Psychiatric Clinic stands as a prominent and historic institution in Croatian psychiatry, marking over 145 years of dedicated service. Renowned for its comprehensive and specialized care for psychiatric patients, the clinic continues to build upon its foundational principles with ongoing advancements in professional programs, scientific research, and educational initiatives. Known for its commitment to excellence, the "Vrapče" Psychiatric Clinic is recognized also for its significant contributions to the social and cultural aspects of mental health care. The participants will be offered interactive sessions with the staff members and service users and small group practice observations in community treatment teams and outpatient programmes.

The Croatian Institute of Public Health remains a leading institution in Croatia, renowned for its contributions to public health, epidemiology, and preventive medicine. Founded in 1949 and named after the esteemed public health pioneer Andrija Štampar, the institute continues to play a crucial role in safeguarding public health through its extensive research, health promotion activities, and disease prevention programs. The institute is involved in a wide range of public health initiatives, including environmental health, nutrition, health education, and epidemiological surveillance. The regional Teaching Institute for Public Health Andrija Štampar is specialized in prevention and treatment with youth and with addiction disorders and the participants will have the opportunity to learn about specific programmes for youth through interactive sessions with the staff members.

The Faculty of Education and Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Zagreb is a distinguished institution dedicated to the education and training of professionals in the fields of special education, rehabilitation, and social pedagogy. Established with a mission to improve the quality of life for individuals with disabilities and those in need of rehabilitation, the faculty offers a range of undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs. It is renowned for its comprehensive curriculum that combines theoretical knowledge with practical experience, cutting-edge research with its contributions to policy development, and community engagement is specially significant in the field of behavioural addictions. The participants will have the opportunity to learn about specific programmes for youth implemented in schools by the staff of the institution through interactive sessions with the staff members.

The Croatian Association of Mental Health Associations (SUMEZ) stands as a pivotal organization dedicated to advancing mental health awareness, support, and advocacy across Croatia run by peer workers. Comprising a network of local mental health associations, SUMEZ collaboratively promotes initiatives that enhance public understanding of mental health issues, reduce stigma, and improve access to mental health services. Through educational programs, community outreach, and policy advocacy, SUMEZ strives to ensure equitable mental health care for all individuals, fostering a supportive environment that promotes psychological well-being and resilience. The participants will be offered interactive sessions with the peer experts and service users and small group practice observations in three NGOs – Životna linija, offering creative art workshops for improving mental health, Svitanje and Ludruga – offering psychosocial interventions for persons with mental ill health.

Humana Nova is more than just a social enterprise; it is a community dedicated to environmental sustainability, social inclusion, and economic empowerment situated in the town of Čakovec. By employing people with disabilities and those who are socially excluded, it creates innovative, high-quality products from discarded textiles and sustainable materials. By providing jobs to 51 people, including 30 individuals with disabilities and 18 from other marginalized groups it actively contributes to poverty reduction, sustainable community development, and nature conservation through textile collection, reuse, and recycling. The participants will be offered interactive sessions with the staff members and users.

Centar Stančić is a social care institution under the direct authority of the Ministry of Labour, Pension, Family, and Social welfare, providing social services to over 600 children with disabilities and adults with intellectual or mental disabilities. In accordance with the transformation process, Centar Stančić has established a new system of social services for all persons with disabilities, which includes providing social services at the institution's headquarters and offering social services in the community, with the ultimate goal of increasing their social inclusion and successfully formed three organized housing services in Dugo Selo, Jelkovec, and Vrbovec for adults with disabilities, as well as day centres for children with disabilities operating in Dugo Selo and Vrbovec. Currently, more than 300 children are using various rehabilitation services in the day centre. The participants will be offered interactive sessions with the staff members and service users and small group practice observations.

The Andrija Štampar Institute of Public Health remains a leading institution in Croatia, renowned for its contributions to public health, epidemiology, and preventive medicine. With its commitment to innovation and excellence, the Andrija Štampar Institute remains at the forefront of public health advancements, both nationally and internationally.

The Health Center Zagreb – Center is the largest health center in the Republic of Croatia thet provides accessible, continuous, comprehensive, and integrated healthcare services to for approximately 350,000 residents of the City of Zagreb through the rational and coordinated operation of 315 contracted teams from 19 different activities. It employs a total of 909 staff, covering various activities across 64 locations in the City of Zagreb, including three pharmacies. The largest service is the family medicine department, which operates a total of 103 family medicine teams and dental healthcare services, women's healthcare services, pediatric healthcare, medical biochemistry, occupational medicine, internal medicine, neurology, dermatology and venereology, ophthalmology, otorhinolaryngology and psychiatry with 6 psychologists and 2 speech therapists and palliative care. The participants will be offered interactive sessions with the staff members.

UNUO (in Croatian: Udruga Najosjetljivijih U Osposobljavanju standing for the association for the most vulnerable in training) is an association working with people with disabilities children without adequate parental care, and children in disadvantaged positions through the art of gastronomy for the last 15 years. Using an innovative teaching methodology, they strive to impart knowledge to service users to become more independent, competitive in the labor market, and accepted in society and to enhance the capabilities of people with disabilities for independent living. The participants will be offered small group practice observations of the innovative teaching methodology that they have developed as a Croatian product by organizing culinary competitions for people with disabilities in as many countries as possible and participantion in the world renowed gastro event on voluntary bases (optional).

Društvo za psihološku pomoć (DPP) is a non-profit and non-governmental organization established in 1993, primarily in response to the consequences of war events for the well-being and mental health of the population in the Republic of Croatia. The focus of its work is on providing services to individuals, families, and the community, as well as enhancing the competencies of professionals in helping professions. It offers a wide range of interventions including crisis interventions, psychosocial interventions with youth and families, counselling and work with abused victims and those who committed abuse. The participants will be offered interactive sessions with the staff members and small practice observations.

Center for Professional Rehabilitation "Zagreb" was founded by Croatia and the city of Zagreb in 2015 as an institution for organizing and carrying out professional rehabilitation of persons with disabilities.
