Meet Cornelia Ciofu, our dedicated Training Programme Coordinator. Cornelia holds a MA in Clinical Psychology and an MBA, complemented by her certification as a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist from the Romanian League for Mental Health. With a career spanning 17 years, Cornelia brings a wealth of experience in development cooperation, mental health care projects, and task coordination, marked by her adeptness in managing multiple priorities with a positive attitude.

Since February 2023, Cornelia has served as the Regional Expert of Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) in the MH4U project. Collaborating closely with Ukrainian project partners, she designs studies for indicator data collection, oversees implementation processes, and ensures comprehensive reporting through effective project management. She plays a pivotal role in finalizing the M&E framework for newly acquired project components, ensuring a cohesive and systematic approach to tracking progress and outcomes.
From October 2017 to January 2022, Cornelia contributed significantly as a Consultant for the Reform of Mental Health Services in Moldova (MENSANA Project). Her responsibilities included developing M&E procedures that led to service improvements, conducting M&E and reporting based on project indicators, and organizing capacity-building activities such as training, study visits, and conferences for mental health specialists.
Between September 2014 and September 2017, Cornelia managed the Migration and Development Project in Moldova, where she implemented quality management and M&E systems across Local Centres (LCs). She successfully scaled up the network of LCs, focused on recruitment, and conducted capacity-building initiatives, including training and experience exchanges for project staff to ensure the delivery of expected results.
From June 2006 to October 2010, Cornelia served as the Program and Public Relations Coordinator at the National Assistance Centre for NGOs in Moldova (CONTACT). She played a key role in implementing projects with capacity-building components, contributing significantly to the organization's mission.
