Introduction

Transforming Mental Health Support Through Collaboration

The Multidisciplinary Approach to Mental Health Training Programme is a structured capacity-building initiative designed for healthcare professionals, educators, social workers, and justice sector workers. This training is part of the EU-PROMENS initiative, aimed to:

  • promote a multidisciplinary approach to mental health support by equipping diverse professionals with the competencies needed to collaborate effectively across sectors.
  • foster a shared understanding of mental health, enhance teamwork, and build capacity for integrated, person-centred care that addresses mental health challenges holistically.
  • create a cohesive, multidisciplinary network of professionals who can work together effectively to deliver comprehensive, person-centred mental health prevention and care that improves outcomes for individuals and communities.
