Objectives

Module A – Context Analysis, Community Mental Health Policies, and Strategies for Youth

  • From European and national legislation to the local context
  • Service system and stakeholders
  • Best practices – Youngle project

Specific objectives

  • Read and interpret quantitative and qualitative data
  • Identify critical issues and intervention opportunities

Module B – Mental Health Policies and Strategies to Create Environments that Promote Mental Health and Wellbeing

  • Mapping of service systems and local actions and initiatives (including non-institutional)
  • Active services and existing intervention mechanisms (including non-institutional)
  • Multi-level and multi-actor integration

Specific objectives

  • Understand how the local system functions
  • Improve coordination between services and other stakeholders
  • Strengthen integrated care capacities

Module C – Participatory Planning and Community Development

  • Participatory planning methodologies for active involvement of youth and communities
  • Co-design of community mental health actions
  • Definition of objectives, actions, indicators, and expected results

Specific objectives

  • Develop concrete and sustainable actions
  • Promote community empowerment
  • Identify actions and priorities to strengthen youth mental health interventions (prevention and specific initiatives)
  • Teaching methodology
  • Participatory planning
  • Group work and workshops
  • Peer-to-peer exchange
  • Production of project outcomes

Expected Outcomes

  • Increased skills of institutional operators and stakeholders
  • Better integration of services with local stakeholders
