Day 1 – Context Analysis, Emerging Needs, Service System, Multidisciplinary Approach and Best Practices

 

  1. MODULE 1 – Presentation and Context Definition
  • From European and national legislation to the local context
  • Data analysis on:
    • User profiles
    • Emerging trends in youth mental health in the reference context
  • Identification of critical issues and emerging needs
  • Experiences and best practices

Specific objectives

  • Understand key determinants of youth mental health
  • Read and interpret quantitative and qualitative data
  • Identify critical issues and intervention opportunities
  1. MODULE 2 – Service System and Stakeholder Network
  • Mapping of services and local actions and initiatives (including non-institutional)
  • Active services and existing intervention mechanisms (including non-institutional)
  • Multi-level and multi-stakeholder integration

Specific objectives

  • Understand how the local system works
  • Improve coordination between services and other stakeholders
  • Understand access issues and client management challenges
  1. MODULE 3 – Multidisciplinary and Multi-Stakeholder Approach
  • Multidisciplinary approach and community mental health
  • Existing services, intervention mechanisms, and projects
  • Multi-level and multi-stakeholder integration

  • Understand access, activation, and prevention methods (institutional and non-institutional)
  • Improve coordination between services and other stakeholders
  • Understand access issues, client management, and integrated care

  • National and international best practices in youth mental health – Youngle project
  • Preventive, promotional, and outreach approaches
  • Integration of health, educational, and social services
  • The role of educational communities
