We have two types of events:
        
1. European Exchange Programme on Mental Health
(on an international level conducted in English)

2. National Mental Health Training Programme
(on a regional level conducted in the language of the hosting country)

1. European Exchange Programme on Mental Health

 

Embark on a professional learning experience to one of the following six European hubs: The Netherlands, Spain, Czech Republic, Croatia, Finland, and Austria. Participants from different professional profiles and experience levels will be selected in order to foster peer-to-peer learning and multi-disciplinary collaboration. They will take part in a two-week programme with study visits to service providers, workshops and job-shadowing around distinct technical themes.

You can apply for multiple European Exchange Programmes on Mental Health, but you will be selected for only one.

Target group

Mental health professionals from medical and community-based care; educators, schoolteachers, pedagogues; social workers from various community settings; professionals working in prisons and juvenile detention centres; policymakers; mental health education professionals; service user organizations involved in mental health advocacy.

 

Language requirements

English at intermediary level (B).

First Call for Applications: June 2024

Expenses

All travel, accommodation, and board expenses are covered by the project.

2. National Mental Health Training Programme

 

 

Experience our hybrid training format with online and in-person sessions together with other mental health professionals from your country. Trainings will be informed by a thorough needs assessment and provided for three days by national and international guest lecturers to a mulitdisciplinary audience. Content will be grounded in latest evidence-based practices for treatment, recovery, prevention and promotion in mental health, with special focus on vulnerable groups.

Target group

Health professionals working in mental health sector (psychiatrists, family doctors, nurses, psychotherapists, physiotherapists, speech therapists, clinical psychologists, specialised counsellors, work therapist, social workers; Teachers and educators working in the educational setting (educational workers working in schools, or other educational settings, youth centres, sports clubs, school counsellors); Social workers working in various community settings (community care canters, social care organizations/ services, refugee/ migrant/asylum seeker canters, elderly care centres); Professionals working in prisons and juvenile detention centres (social workers, clinical psychologists, etc.).

Language requirements

The local language of the country on advanced level.

Timeline

Piloting in six countries in spring 2025, then expanding to 24 European countries in 2025 and 2026. Tentative event calendar see below.
