National Training Programme
EU-PROMENS is opening applications for a new multidisciplinary training program to strengthen competencies in mental health care, education, social work, and justice. This initiative empowers professionals with key skills and encourages cross-sector collaboration.
The training is based on the Cross-sectoral Competence Framework for Mental Health. It includes:
A two-day Core Training on basic knowledge and cross-sectoral competencies in mental health. Participants develop helping skills, mental health literacy, risk assessment, communication, and cross-sectoral collaboration.
A one-day Advanced Training focused on multidisciplinary collaboration. Intended for mental health professionals with at least 5 years of experience, it covers policy, leadership, team resilience, and self-care practices.
Target group
Health professionals (psychiatrists, nurses, psychologists, etc.), educators (teachers, school counsellors), social workers (community care, refugee centers, elderly care), and professionals in prisons and juvenile detention centres.

Language requirements
The local language of the country at an advanced level.
Timeline
Piloting in six countries in spring 2025, then expanding to 24 European countries in 2025 and 2026.
Expenses
All travel and accommodation expenses are covered by the project.
