Multidisciplinary Training Programme

Netherlands: Den Bosch

September 2025 – October 2025

Registration is open from 15 June to 15 September. If the maximum number of participants is reached before the deadline, the registration will close earlier.

The aim of this training programme is to promote a multidisciplinary approach to mental health support by equipping diverse professionals with the competencies needed to collaborate effectively across sectors. The training seeks to foster a shared understanding of mental health, enhance teamwork, and build capacity for integrated, person-centred care that addresses mental health challenges holistically. This training programme aims to create a cohesive, multidisciplinary network of professionals who can work together effectively to deliver comprehensive, person-centred mental health prevention and care that improves outcomes for individuals and communities.

The national multidisciplinary training programme is organised in partnership with Reinier van Arkel, a mental health service provider network in the south of the Netherlands. This event will give insights into the collaboration of a network of (mental) health providers for adults, youth and the elderly in urban and rural environments. Participants will have the chance to see successful models for community mental health, integrated (network) care and housing first, experience the work of inpatient mental health teams and see services for vulnerable groups in prison, homeless shelters and on the streets. In addition, they will experience first-hand how service providers place quality of life and well-being, resilience, strength, and support from the environment at the core of their daily work with citizens and clients.

The training is delivered in-person in the Netherlands and conducted in Dutch.
